Alarm.com is the leading technology provider of Smart Home Security services. Our award winning technology is used by over 5 million people to help protect what matters most. We are proud of our A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, and work relentlessly to deliver the best.

Alarm.com developed and released the first ever interactive home security solution over a decade ago and our services have completely changed how security systems work today.

Alarm.com technology is behind some of the most advanced home security systems available and is sold and serviced by a network for professional Service Providers.

“I found the system powerful and easy to use. I especially liked the way the system’s components work together.”

“One of the coolest integrations we saw was all the smart home stuff you can control through Alarm.com. Just a few taps and you can keep tabs on your house from anywhere.”

No, but 24inControl is one of our Authorized Service Providers who can install an Alarm.com Security System for you!

Alarm.com does not sell systems directly. Alarm.com is focused on building the best, most reliable technology and their services are sold through authorized security professionals who install, monitor and support the system.

Unlike traditional systems that typically only alerted you if the alarm went off, Alarm.com systems monitor the activity across your home’s sensors 24/7, whether your system is armed or not. This means your system can be useful in emergency and non-emergency events.

All the signals from the security system are sent over Alarm.com’s dedicated secure cellular connection for fast and reliable communication. In the event of an emergency, that signal is instantly sent to a Central Monitoring Station, managed by your Service Provider. There are professional monitoring personnel at the Central Station 24/7 to receive the real-time alarm signals from Alarm.com systems, and dispatch emergency response.

Non-emergency alerts are processed by Alarm.com and sent out based on the rules that you define. For example, you may choose to get an alert when the front door opens between 12-2pm so you know the dog walker showed up.

Alarm.com is sold as a part of a smart home or smart business security system and is included in your security service. Security is typically sold with a low upfront cost and an ongoing monthly service fee similar to a cell phone, depending on the size of your home or business and the devices and services you choose to include.

We recommend that you talk with 24inControl to discuss your options and find the solution and offer that will work best for you.

All Alarm.com systems are professionally configured and monitored. Our network of providers offer a choice of installation options from self-installation to full service professional installation.

If you’re tech-savvy, you may feel comfortable installing a pre-configured system, which includes a DIY kit and professional monitoring. Don’t worry if you’re not, 24inControl offers full professional installation.

The choice is really up to you. You’ll get a great system either way. 24inControl is ready to help you get started and answer any questions you may have.

Alarm.com is engineered to be more reliable than other systems.

Unlike other systems that share a phone or cable line, Alarm.com systems use a dedicated, secure cellular connection to provide reliable and uninterrupted service for your critical security messages. This also means that there is no physical phone or cable line exposed on the outside of your house that could be cut and compromise your system.

Your system will communicate even if the power is out, or the Internet or broadband is down.

If your panel is tampered with or destroyed, Alarm.com still sends a signal to the authorities, thanks to our Crash and Smash Protection.

Proactive safeguards do more to help you stay safe.

If there’s an emergency, we’re one step ahead. If smoke or carbon monoxide is detected, Alarm.com can automatically shut down the heat or AC to stop the circulation of dangerous fumes, and send a signal to emergency personnel.

How? Alarm.com lets you easily set rules so that your home automatically responds in an emergency to help keep you safe. Alarm.com connect your home’s key devices, like carbon monoxide, smoke detectors, and your heating and AC system, wirelessly to the security panel.

Alerts and notifications work for you 24/7 – even when your system is disarmed.

Alarm.com’s Always-On Technology keeps you notified of any activity you care about, whether your system is armed or not. This means you can get text or email notifications when a door or window is opened, if a medicine or liquor cabinet is opened, when someone disarms the system, or even adjusts the thermostat. You can choose to get as many – or as few – alerts as you like.

It remembers, even if you forget.

With flexible and easy to set custom rules and alerts, you can get reminders if the garage door hasn’t been closed by 10pm, or if you leave home without arming the system. Create reminders based on time of day, or when the system detects that you’ve left home.
