Simply set up a “Sensor Left Open” notification. The TX-E Garage Door Tilt Sensor from Interlogix provides intrusion detection plus 24/7 monitoring of overhead garage doors. The Sensor will transmit an open and close signal to the panel each time the garage door is opened or closed. When the system is armed it goes into an alarm condition that turns on the siren and initiates notifications to you and to the central monitoring station. But even if not armed you can receive a customized text and email notifications upon opening or if left open for a predetermined amount of time and after a certain time of day. This Sensor also features a slow loop response which eliminates false alarms triggered by garage door movement due to wind.
